You are visiting this link because you tried contacting Bruno Lowagie.
As you can probably tell from the speed of the reply, you received an automated response. I am assuming that you were contacting me in connection with the Venice Film Festival. If your email concerned a different matter, please disregard the remainder of this message and contact me through one of the channels listed at the bottom of this post.
The purpose of this auto-reply is to clarify my current interests and avoid unnecessary exchanges based on incorrect assumptions. Over the years, I have had the privilege of investing in films such as Sea Sparkle and Köln 75. You can find an overview of my film-related activities on IMDb.
While I remain passionate about cinema, I am no longer interested in acting solely as a financial investor. Going forward, I intend to focus on projects in which I can make a meaningful creative contribution. By way of example, in 2027 I will be investing in the renovation of a five-screen arthouse cinema in the historic centre of Ghent, Belgium. In addition, I have written several screenplays and am actively seeking producers, directors, and creative partners interested in developing those projects:
As a result, I am generally unable to consider unsolicited requests for investment in productions that do not involve my creative participation. Thank you for your understanding.
If we happen to meet in Venice, I have a limited number of complimentary copies of my books that I would be delighted to give away while supplies last. Whether you are a filmmaker, producer, journalist, festival professional, or simply someone attending Venice with an interesting idea, I wish you a productive and successful festival.
Kind regards,
Bruno Lowagie
